Expectations exceeded

Usually, I'm disappointed with some features of budget priced Android phones. This phone far exceeded my expectations. Let me explain. The screen is bright, crisp and clear. The front and rear cameras are high quality. There is a case included. The screen is large with only a small divot at the top. Interacting with it felt fast and responsive. There are two SIM card slots and a TF slot in the same card tray. It can accept TF cards up to 1TB. Set up was easy, it guided me through the entire process. Facial *and* fingerprint recognition both worked flawlessly. The fingerprint sensor is the same as the power button. Setup of the fingerprint was a bit dodgy but I finally got the hang of it. I found the sound to adequate, but not as rich as on more expensive ones. I've never seen an FM radio on a smartphone. Be aware that wired headphones are required for the FM function because the wire serves as the FM antenna. Overall, if you're looking for a full-featured phone at a value price, I recommend this. Really good phone

The phone is pretty good and excellent. The 6.7 inch HD display offers clear and sharp visuals, making it a great choice for outdoor activities, The 50MP16MP camera takes good quality photos, the 5000mAh battery provides ample power for full day’s use. Buttery’s smooth animations, would recommend to anyone who wants a good smartphone but not pay a lot of money.

Fossibot S2- feature packed, incredible value

Why oh why did I have to stumble upon this phone after wasting over $1,000 on a Samsung phone? I'm writing this review on my Galaxy s24 ultra and quite frankly, outside of the S pen, I really don't see much difference in functionality. This fossibot S2 can perform every single one of the functions that any cellular phone is able to. This phone has really opened to my eyes to the value that is available outside of the major cellphone manufacturer's price gouging. I've been using this phone for several weeks now and there's not a task that I am unable to perform using this fairly priced phone. Just to mention a few of the unbelievable features at this price point. We have two cameras, first a 50 megapixel rear camera, 16 megapixel front camera,8 gigs of RAM, 256 gigs of storage plus the ability to add up to 1 TB via an SD card! Fingerprint unlock is built into the power button on the side, as well as having face unlock via the front camera. The phone has a 6.72 inch FHD plus display and is running Android 14 operating system. The screen is bright, crisp and very sharp. The screen is so bright that I normally use it at about 25% maximum brightness. CPU in this phone is a mediatek MT6769, while quite not quite as powerful as the latest Snapdragon CPU It is totally capable of performing any and all tasks normally done on a smartphone. The latest snapdragon chip, in my opinion, is like putting a 500 horsepower hemi engine on a go-kart. Like who's going to the races in a go-kart? The same thing with that powerful CPU in a cell phone unless you're into gaming on a tiny 6 in screen, which to me is a waste of time and computing power. Again in performing any of the normal daily tasks on a smartphone I noticed no lag or hesitation at all. One unique feature of this device is that it comes standard with 8 gigs of RAM, however the 256 gigs of storage can then have a portion of it repurposed to the RAM up to 12 gigs, so you have 8 gigs of RAM plus 12, which I think helps to explain why the phone is so snappy. At the end of the day I really think you owe it to yourself to try this device before dumping $1,000 on a brand name smartphone, that will probably only get updates for a year or two before being abandoned, and time for you to cough up another Grand.

Decent Cell phone, better specs that most budget phones. Handles day to day tasks well. No 5G data

This Fossbot S2 smartphone is not bad at all for the specifications that it has. It can run one of the more recent versions of android and be able to handle routine tasks on a day-to-day basis. I got this to be a backup phone for business purposes. The screen size is fantastic for me as it is about the same size as the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra or the LG V60 Thinq as I have slightly bigger bands, and the battery is a standard 5000 mah size which can last all day. 128 GB in built storage is perfect for the device and it can handle up to 1 TB on an external card. This phone can handle 2 sim cards in addition to the fact that that it has the external memory card for additional storage. The camera is better than most budget phones. The only thing that is not great about this phone is the lack of 5G capability. With 5G growing, I would have liked if this phone could have the technology though right now it’s not an absolute massive concern for me. Overall, for basic needs, this phone is perfect and the price point this is great. I recommend this to anyone who needs a backup for their business or if they want to give a decent basic smartphone to a young kid for their first phone or to an elderly person.

Apparently has limits with T-Mobile network

Seemed like a great phone with all the features I hoped for. But when I inserted my T-Mobile Sim card, I immediately got a message that said, while it would work with T-Mobile, it was not fully compatible. It warned me that I would experience slower data and less coverage area than the entire T-Mobile network. I ended up returning it :(
