Seriously loud ringer

This is an excellent heavy-duty phone. We got it mostly for the sound quality which is super loud and was great for my dad who is hard of hearing. Unfortunately, I was never able to fully dumb it down (even using senior apps) for him to be able to use it successfully. Back to a flip phone it is. The picture quality is amazing though, so I’m hanging on to it to take pictures for eBay.

Offers many advantages a regular phone doesn't

This is an awesome device . Have been using it for a few days, and it lives up to all of my expectations. Any one on a budget that doesn't mind the extra weight of the battery will love this. (Phone is approximately 2 times normal) That of a normal phone. But with many advantages.

Rugged MP3 Player, wrong RAM listed.

I'm in the US, so in reality, i set my expectations. I do not want this device as a phone, just a glorified mp3 player that i can add a big SD card to, and have unlimited tunes. With a large battery. I can charge this device maybe once a week, and have it used all day at work, 5 days a week. And for these reasons this device gives me exactly that. Plus its rugged, so it can take a beating if needed. In fact, i got this one because i accidentally drove over my last one with my Chevy Silverado. Believe it or not, the screen did not break, nor did the device. What cracked was the LCD under the glass. Sad, but my fault. And any other device would've been toast. The only reason this is getting 4 stars, and not 5 is because this device is listed as going up to 12gb of virtual ram. This is not true. It has only 4gb built in, and can only do another 4gb of virtual, making 8gb total. Not 12gb.

Phone is heavy and if you drop it the impact on surface it hits will be twice the damage. This phone needs a better wrap for accidental drops.
